Before you write in
No. There's no monthly subscription on the core platform. The only cost is the fixed 2% + $0.20 platform fee, applied per online donation.
Card payments run through Stripe. GivePort never touches or stores raw card details — Stripe's processing fee (1.7% + $0.30) applies on top of the platform fee.
Refund requests go through the organisation that received the donation, since they control the campaign. Contact the organisation directly, or reach out to us if you need help finding their contact details.
A receipt is generated and emailed automatically the moment a donation clears — organisations don't need to draft or send anything manually. Each receipt is issued in the organisation's name and shows the tax-deductible amount separately. In Australia, a donation is only tax-deductible if the organisation has Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status.
Yes. Events and ticketing run on the same platform and dashboard as campaigns, so you're not stitching together a separate tool for one-off fundraising events.
That's the organisation's choice. You can absorb the fee, or let donors choose to cover it at checkout — either way, the amount is shown before the donation is confirmed.
Currently GivePort supports Australia-only transactions, and the published rates are based on Australian domestic card transactions. Multi-currency support is planned but not shipped.
Yes. Each campaign can offer one-time and recurring donations — weekly, monthly or yearly — and the organisation chooses which options donors see.
Create an organisation account, link a Stripe account for payouts, then set up your first campaign or event from the dashboard. There's nothing to install and no subscription.
