Information We Collect
We collect account details, organization profile data, donor profile data, donation records, campaign/event information, ticketing details, and receipt-related data required to operate GivePort.
How We Use Information
Data is used to provide fundraising services, process donations, manage one-time and recurring campaigns, support subscriptions, generate receipts, support event/ticketing operations, and improve service quality and security.
We can send you promotional or feature emails which will add in future of our platform.
Fees and Payment Processing
GivePort platform fee is 2% + $0.20. Stripe processing fee is 1.7% + $0.30 per transaction. During campaign donations, donors may be offered a choice to cover processing fees, or the organization may cover them.
At this stage, GivePort supports Australia-only transactions. The rates shown on the platform are based on domestic card transactions in Australia. International card transaction rates are not currently covered in this fee model, but this is planned for a future platform update.
Payments are processed by Stripe. GivePort does not store full card numbers, CVV, or complete payment card credentials of any donor or organization. We may also use trusted email providers to send receipts and service notifications.
Data Location and Security
GivePort stores platform data in Australia-region infrastructure and applies technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect data in transit and at rest. We use access controls, authentication controls, and operational monitoring to reduce unauthorized access risks.
We retain data as needed for legal, tax, audit, fraud prevention, and operational requirements, then securely archive or remove it according to our retention standards.
Your Rights and Choices
You may request access, correction, or deletion of eligible personal data, subject to legal and contractual obligations. You may also request updates to inaccurate organization or donor information.
